Seventh cervical vertebra – C7

C7 is an atypical cervical spine vertebra. It has distinctive features:
• Non-bifid spinous process (1)
• Small foramen transversarium (2)
• Small lateral recess (3)
• Bigger pedicle (4), compared to the rest of the cervical vertebrae
